SODA CITY MARKET

Brain. Body. Belly.

About the Market

Soda City Market, now sponsored by The Moore Company, is Columbia’s weekly Main Street event inspired by traditional European street markets. We’re open every Saturday morning 9 a.m. –1 p.m., year-round, rain or shine!.

Find everything you need to nourish your brain, body, and belly—helping establish our city as the real southern hotspot for locals and visitors alike. Soda City Market is a microcosm of Columbia, a melting pot of cultures, and an inviting community experience worth making a part of your regular weekend routine.

150 Vendors Every Week

Soda City Market is a producer-only market — vendors must make it or grow it. Everything sold at our market is unique, hand crafted, and produced, right here, in South Carolina. We have an average of 150 vendors per week, and we have a database of over 400 vendors.

If you are interested in becoming a vendor at the Soda City Market, please follow the link to apply.

Soda City Small Business Saturday

November 30, 2019 9am

Obviously, local is king (or queen) in our book. After sorting through weekly vendor applications of service-based businesses (Soda City Market is a makers-market) on a regular basis it’s time to dedicate a day to ’em.

Parking

Parking is free on Saturdays! Metered spots line Assembly Street and adjacent side streets.

Visitors are also encouraged to check out the surrounding parking garages on Lady Street, Taylor Street, and Washington Street. Click the map to the right to get directions!

The COMET’s free Soda Cap Connector also stops off at the Market!

The motto here is “don’t be afraid to walk a little”.

What People are Saying

“Great Saturday Morning”

“Love, love Soda City market!! Great way to spend Saturday mornings, grab some awesome produce, great food vendors and local artisans…or stop in and have a sit-down brunch at one of the restaurants on Main Street!”

Donnah

“Fun Afternoon”

“Spent a few hours walking around the Soda City open air market and found it to be a delightful way to spend the afternoon. There were a variety of artists and food vendors. We were in Columbia and found several items to bring home – handmade soap, a unique leather bag and ceramic coasters. It was a nice way to check out the town and get a feel for the local culture.”

KP
